In fiscal year 2025, the Pal System Group provided subsidies totaling 50,535,737 yen to 199 non-profit organizations and other entities working to solve regional social issues. Amidst unstable global affairs and ongoing domestic price hikes impacting daily life, we offer financial support to various organizations tackling diverse regional challenges. Through collaboration with subsidized organizations, we aim to expand the role of consumer cooperatives in local communities. Supporting grassroots activities with consumers In fiscal year 2025, 199 organizations received 50,535,737 yen in subsidies through 11 subsidy programs operated by 9 group organizations. The subsidies are funded by business surpluses from each organization's home delivery, mutual aid, and welfare services, connecting consumer purchasing behavior to regional support. Seven Pal System cooperatives support a wide range of citizen activities within their operating regions through subsidy programs. Pal System Kyosai Ren supports educational, welfare, and health maintenance activities by consumers, as well as support activities for those in poverty by various regional organizations. Pal System Federation subsidizes community development activities of suppliers and production areas across the country. By leveraging the collaborative strength of cooperatives and regional organizations, we support activities aimed at creating communities where everyone can live comfortably through human connections, together with our consumers.
