Belta Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Katsumi Takekawa, hereinafter referred to as Belta) will co-host the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine Luncheon Seminar titled "Preconception Care as the Starting Point for Family Building ~Current Status and Implementation from the Perspective of Behavioral Economics~" on July 12, 2026 (Sunday). In conjunction with co-hosting this seminar, Belta, in collaboration with Dr. Kiyotaka Kawai, Chairman of Kameda Medical Group, who will be a speaker at the seminar, conducted a survey on awareness and behavior regarding nutritional intake from before pregnancy to during pregnancy, targeting 414 individuals who are pregnant, trying to conceive, pregnant, or have experienced childbirth. Part of the survey results are scheduled to be presented during this seminar. Through this initiative, Belta aims to connect the knowledge of medical professionals with the voices of consumers, and to promote the development of health from before pregnancy and preconception care. Background of Co-hosting the Luncheon Seminar With the mission of "Solving challenges in women's life stages," Belta has been dedicated to supporting women through their life stages, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. In addition to providing products and services, Belta has been engaged in promoting health from before pregnancy and preconception care through collaborations with local governments, medical institutions, and educational institutions. Preconception care is an important concept not only for future pregnancy and childbirth but also for young generations to consider their own health and life plans. On the other hand, there are individual differences in the timing of accessing necessary information and the triggers for actual behavior, necessitating initiatives that connect the knowledge of medical professionals with the awareness and behavioral realities of cons
