CPC: Gasoline and Diesel Prices Frozen for 7th Consecutive Week, Cumulative Absorption Exceeds NT$14.8 Billion
Amidst escalating Middle East tensions and rising international oil prices, CPC Corporation announced a seventh consecutive freeze on gasoline and diesel prices. From May 18th to May 24th, prices for gasoline and diesel will remain unchanged. Considering the geopolitical situation and high subsidies in neighboring Asian countries, CPC will continue to absorb costs to maintain the lowest prices in the region. The cumulative absorption amount has reached approximately NT$14.82 billion since the conflict began. This week's absorption rate has increased, aiming to protect the public, stabilize prices, and minimize the impact on daily life and industrial operations.
