The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston issued a press release yesterday stating that Stitt announced the establishment of the Oklahoma "Taiwan Regional Trade Office" at a celebration held on June 30th at the Oklahoma State Capitol Building, showcasing the rock-solid friendship and deep economic and trade partnership between Taiwan and the United States. Hsiao Yi-fang, who attended the event and delivered a speech, expressed gratitude to Stitt for leading a trade delegation to Taiwan in 2024, which laid the foundation for opening the office, and also thanked friends in the Oklahoma State Legislature for promoting supportive legislation.
