(Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideaki Nika; hereinafter "Nissan Securities"), established in 1948, has established a system for in-house development and operation of its business system for the fixed-yield asset management service "YIELD FUND". Nissan Securities has created an environment where it can develop, modify, and operate systems under its own initiative in the financial industry, where legal amendments, system changes, security enhancements, and new service deployments occur continuously. The foundation for this is the low-code development tool "Zoho Creator". We will introduce this as a practical case study of in-house development by a financial institution, covering response to security requirements, rapid adaptation to legal changes, and even system reuse for new services. Background The financial industry continuously faces demands for system adaptations due to legal amendments, guideline revisions, and strengthening security requirements. On the other hand, when collaborating with external vendors for such changes, adjustments and development efforts are required for each modification, and development investment can become a hurdle for commercialization when launching new services.
