The Aichi Sake Brewers Association, the Gifu Sake Brewers Association Federation, and ZIP-FM will hold “SAKAE SAKE SQUARE 2026,” an event where visitors can enjoy local sake from Aichi and Gifu in the heart of Sakae, Nagoya. The event will take place over three days from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, July 20, 2026, at a special venue in the Galaxy Platform area of Oasis 21. More than 20 breweries will participate each day, with a total of 50 breweries across the three days: 24 from Aichi and 26 from Gifu. More than 140 sake labels are expected to be available. As in previous years, some labels will also be served on the rocks or mixed with soda. Details of the featured sake lineup will be announced at a later date. The organizers invite visitors to enjoy “summer sake” from Aichi and Gifu during Japan’s three-day holiday weekend in July. The event is titled “SAKAE SAKE SQUARE 2026.” It will be held from July 18 to 20, 2026. Hours are 13:00 to 21:30 on July 18, with last orders at 21:00; 11:00 to 20:00 on July 19, with last orders at 19:30; and 10:00 to 18:00 on July 20, with last orders at 17:30. As a heat countermeasure this year, operating hours differ by day. Sake service will also pause during rest periods: 15:00 to 15:30 on Saturday, and 14:30 to 15:00 on Sunday and Monday. The venue is the special event site at Galaxy Platform, Oasis 21, in Sakae, Nagoya. The event is organized by the Aichi Sake Brewers Association, the Gifu Sake Brewers Association Federation, and ZIP-FM, with support from the City of Nagoya and cooperation from Oasis 21.
