Y’s for men will launch the OCONT work boots, a collaboration with American heritage boot brand Danner, on July 8 (Wed) at all directly managed stores nationwide and the official online store, THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO. Danner, founded in 1932, is a representative American boot brand that uses carefully selected materials and meticulously crafts each pair by hand. For the third season of our collaboration with Danner, we will be releasing the OCONT work boots. The upper is made of soft oil shrink leather, which has a natural grain and a soft texture. The stitch-down construction, which offers excellent lightness and flexibility, is combined with a Danner sole that provides both grip and cushioning, achieving a balance between the robustness characteristic of work boots and comfortable everyday wear. The sole can be replaced, allowing for long-term wear and practicality, evolving with the deepening character of the leather and the fit to your feet over time. The simple design, which leverages the texture and functionality of the materials, will naturally blend into the Y’s for men wardrobe and adapt to a wide range of styling throughout the seasons.
