XENCE Co., Ltd. Based on Aichi Prefecture's "Innovative Business Creation Strategy" aiming to foster innovation that contributes to solving social issues and revitalizing the region, selected projects are officially recognized as "Innovative Businesses" of Aichi Prefecture. XENCE was selected in the priority policy areas of "Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries" and "DX," and will promote the development of a new model for our "Circular Wooden GreenhouseTM" and the development and demonstration of automation technology utilizing robotics. Interior view of "Circular Wooden GreenhouseTM" About "Circular Wooden GreenhouseTM" The Circular Wooden GreenhouseTM is a greenhouse that uses underutilized wood, which has not been fully utilized at sawmills, as its main structural material. It is being developed as a modular building that can be deployed for various purposes, not only for agricultural greenhouses but also for tourist farms, educational/research facilities, and community hubs. Demonstration deployment began in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, in 2025. While priced at or below the cost of steel-framed greenhouses, it achieves carbon negativity by significantly fixing carbon dioxide emissions during the construction phase. It enables long-term use by leveraging the natural insulation, humidity control, and salt damage resistance of wood, and is designed for material recovery and reuse after demolition, making it a building that circulates resources throughout its entire lifecycle.
