Vision Inc. announced that it has developed “Global WiFi® type AI,” a next-generation service that uses AI technology to optimize communication networks and improve users’ quality of experience (QoE). The service is scheduled to launch in August 2026. The service is being developed as part of the company’s effort to enhance its SIMBANK-based communication control platform. “Global WiFi® type AI” collects and analyzes communication data from Wi-Fi routers in real time, including signal strength, communication quality, usage records, usage status, and location information. It then uses AI technology to select and control the optimal communication network. The service combines two types of AI-based control. First, AI optimizes SIM and network assignment by selecting the best communication line based on signal conditions, congestion, and related factors. Second, AI evaluates QoE based on actual usage data such as communication speed and responsiveness to determine whether the service is genuinely usable. Based on these judgments, the system automatically performs controls such as SIM switching and network reconnection, aiming to provide a stable communication environment without requiring user operation. The company noted that conventional communication services have mainly been optimized around network indicators such as signal strength and connection availability, while users may still face situations where they are connected but the service is difficult to use. Vision is therefore focusing not only on connection status but on the actual user experience, and is developing AI control designed to improve QoE using communication performance data. Key features under development include AI-based communication network optimization, QoE-based control that determines whether users can actually use the connection, multi-network support using multiple carriers and SIM resources, and continuous optimization through accumulated communication data. In the future, Vision also expec
