Valeo to Supply Next-Generation Corner Radar Suite, Comprising Hardware and Embedded Software, for L2+ and L3 Systems for a North American Electric Vehicle Manufacturer. Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology, has secured a new contract for advanced safety technology from a North American electric vehicle manufacturer. Valeo will deploy its corner radar suite, including hardware and embedded software, for the automaker's L2+ and L3 systems. This latest generation of radar is designed to enable life-saving, essential functions such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Safe Exit Protection (SEP). Valeo's radar system can also support "eyes-off" functionality, which OEMs can add in the future via OTA.
