Kids Land 2026 will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Expression Practice Room (Building 2, 2nd Floor) of Shimane Prefectural University, Matsue Campus. At Kids Land, students from the Department of Childcare at the Junior College of Shimane Prefectural University will plan and manage activities for children to enjoy. Activities such as crafts and play are planned for parents and children to participate in together. The students will create a safe environment for children to participate by utilizing the childcare knowledge and skills they learn in their daily classes. A highlight is that the students aiming to become childcare professionals will think of the content themselves, prepare for it, and manage the event on the day. The students' engagement while being attentive to the children's reactions, and the warm atmosphere where parents and children can enjoy together, are also appealing. This is an event where children can feel the joy of playing and expressing themselves through various activities. Advance registration is not required. Admission is free, and anyone can participate.
