KINKA FAMILY JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Naoki Nishida), a subsidiary of Trailhead Global Holdings, Inc., will begin lunch service at "Rokkon Kagurazaka," a sake bar operated by Matsumidori Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, President: Yuriko Chida) on July 3, 2026. KINKA is a Canadian-imported, hidden gem sushi and izakaya dining establishment. This initiative is a collaborative model that effectively utilizes the daytime hours (weekdays 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM) of "Rokkon Kagurazaka," a sake bar that promotes Aomori's local sake and culture. It is positioned as the starting point for a full-scale new business model development, looking ahead to agile store expansion for small-scale establishments and the development of new sales models. ■ Two Passions Intersect in Kagurazaka – The Background and Future Vision of the Collaboration This collaboration began when the representative of Matsumidori Shuzo, a brewery in Aomori with a history dating back to Bunka 1 (1804) of the Edo period, was deeply impressed by the novel dining experience and worldview of "KINKA," a Canadian-born sushi and izakaya. By combining "a sophisticated space that conveys the traditional local sake culture" with "a lunch style where you can casually enjoy carefully selected fresh seafood," we are confident that we can create new value in everyday lunches, leading to this collaboration. In the attractive area of Kagurazaka, Tokyo, we will deliver a high-quality lunch experience that condenses the appeal of KINKA, effectively utilizing the off-hours (daytime) of "Rokkon Kagurazaka," a renowned establishment that brightens the town at night. As a challenge for a new store model that offers different charms during the day and night, we aim for a phased expansion starting from Kagurazaka, with future plans including nighttime collaborations and full-scale sushi offerings on weekends.
