(Headquarters: Osaka City, Yodogawa Ward, President: Toshihiro Takasaki), has been awarded a contract for the installation of a "Solar Power Generation System" by Miyaji Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo Ward, Tokyo, President: Kyoji Okumura, hereinafter "Miyaji Engineering"), a company engaged in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of steel structures such as bridges. The installation location is Miyaji Engineering's Kansai Equipment Center. ■ Overview of the Order The solar power generation system ordered this time has a panel capacity of 162kW and an estimated annual power generation of approximately 200,000 kWh. The generated electricity will be self-consumed at Miyaji Engineering's Kansai Equipment Center, and the estimated annual CO2 emission reduction is expected to be approximately 81 tons-CO2 per year*. Miyaji Engineering is working to reduce the environmental impact throughout all processes of its business activities as part of its sustainability initiatives. The solar power generation system ordered will contribute to the company's CO2 emission reduction. Furthermore, a battery storage system will be installed alongside the solar power generation system.
