These storage batteries mark the Company's first market operation through its own aggregation within the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) service area, and will participate in the wholesale market, supply and demand adjustment market, and capacity market. Furthermore, the Company's track record of connecting grid-connected storage batteries developed and constructed by the Company now stands at 25 in the Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. service area, 15 in the TEPCO service area, and 2 in the Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. service area, for a total of 42 facilities. Moving forward, the Company will sequentially expand its self-aggregation system and promote market operation of its self-developed storage batteries. Since its founding in 2012, the Company has operated under the philosophy of "Harmony and Cooperation with the Community" and the policy of "Realizing Safe and Secure Power Plants and Storage Batteries." With the expansion of renewable energy adoption, the stabilization of power grids and the maintenance of supply-demand balance have become important social issues.
