Sunvillage Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Toru Mimura; hereinafter "our company") has signed a contract with Yachiyo Green Energy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takashi Mizuno; hereinafter "Yachiyo Green Energy") for the installation of high-voltage grid-connected battery storage systems. The project involves constructing a 2MW/8MWh high-voltage battery storage facility in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, with commercial operation targeted for January 2027. This project marks the second collaboration between the two companies, following the earlier battery storage project in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. Since its founding in 2012, our company has conducted business under the philosophy of "harmony and collaboration with local communities," aiming to realize "safe and reliable power and energy storage plants." As the expansion of renewable energy adoption makes grid stabilization and supply-demand balance increasingly critical social challenges, our company is focusing on aggregation services and advancing the sophistication of supply-demand adjustment capabilities. Moving forward, we aim to develop and construct 250 grid-connected battery storage facilities nationwide, with a total output of approximately 500MW, contributing to stable energy supply and the realization of a decarbonized society through the development of energy infrastructure.
