SORACOM Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ken Tamagawa) announced that it will begin offering an RTK-compatible GNSS receiver, capable of high-precision positioning, on its device e-commerce site "SORACOM IoT Store" starting June 30, 2026. As the application areas for IoT expand, there is a growing need for high-precision positioning with centimeter-level accuracy in applications such as automatic steering of agricultural machinery, advanced position management for construction equipment, and autonomous driving control for mobility and robots. These applications require the use of RTK (Real Time Kinematic) positioning technology in addition to GNSS standalone positioning (accuracy: several meters to tens of meters). However, implementing RTK positioning traditionally required procuring and building RTK-compatible receivers, correction data services, and communication environments separately, leading to high costs and long implementation times for IoT projects. The SORACOM IoT Store will offer a set that includes the "QLM29HBAA-GM" receiver and an RTK correction data service. This RTK-compatible GNSS receiver supports not only the widely used L1 positioning signal but also the L5 positioning signal, which is more robust in environments where satellite signals may be obstructed or reflected by buildings or trees, leading to more stable positioning even in obstructed environments. Furthermore, by using RTK positioning, highly accurate position information with an error of less than 10 centimeters can be obtained in good outdoor conditions. The device integrates a GNSS module, antenna, and a dustproof/waterproof case, and can be connected to a host device via USB or RS-232 interface. An internet connection is essential for receiving correction data for RTK use. By combining this receiver with a SORACOM IoT SIM and a device compatible with SORACOM Air for Cellular*, it is possible to receive RTK correction data. Additionally, the visualization and
