We have opened "Social Inclu Home Niigata Maki," a residence where individuals with severe disabilities who require support in daily life can live independently with assistance, in Nishi-Kan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. "Social Inclu Home Niigata Maki" is a group home with daytime service support, and it is the fifth "Social Inclu Home" facility in Niigata City. The demand for daytime service support is high in Niigata City, and the opening of this facility further expands the acceptance system, broadening the options for housing for individuals with severe disabilities to live in the community. Furthermore, the facility is blessed with a rich natural environment compared to existing facilities, supporting a fulfilling life for our residents. This facility will continue to leverage the collaborative relationships with local governments cultivated so far, and by establishing a support system that is responsive to local needs, we will support the independent lives of our residents. (Headquarters: Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo; President: Nobuchika Matsushita), operates "Social Inclu Home," a group home for people with disabilities under the Act on Support for Persons with Disabilities, with the philosophy of "Creating a society where there are zero people with disabilities struggling with housing." ▶ Click here for details on "Social Inclu Home Niigata Maki" ■ Group Homes for People with Disabilities are Welfare Infrastructure Supporting Safe Living While various welfare support and employment services exist to ensure people with disabilities can live with peace of mind, housing options remain limited.
