The Japan Organization for Small and Medium Enterprise and Industry (J-TEC), an independent administrative corporation (President: Masashi Miyakawa, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), has today published the guidelines for the first call for applications for the New Business Expansion and Manufacturing/Commercial Services Subsidy Program. This program is implemented through a consortium led by the National Federation of Small and Medium Enterprise Associations. ■ Program Overview The New Business Expansion and Manufacturing/Commercial Services Subsidy supports small and medium-sized enterprises and other eligible entities in making equipment investments and other expenditures related to the development of technologically innovative products and services, entering new markets or high-value-added businesses distinct from existing operations, and strengthening domestic export infrastructure aimed at overseas market development (exports). ■ Schedule Application acceptance is scheduled to begin on August 31, 2026 (Mon), with a submission deadline of September 30, 2026 (Wed) at 18:00.
