At our corporate exhibition booth, we will introduce portable medical devices that can be utilized in various clinical settings, including home healthcare. We will also co-host a luncheon seminar on the theme of utilizing pocket ultrasound in home healthcare. ▲ Scene from last year's booth exhibition ■ Background of Exhibition: Supporting "On-site Condition Assessment" and Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Home Healthcare Nippon Sigmax has been developing medical devices and supplies that support the treatment and recovery of the musculoskeletal system, primarily in the orthopedic field, within its medical business. In recent years, leveraging the knowledge gained in assessing and caring for the body's condition in the orthopedic field, we have also been working to provide products and information for a wider range of medical settings, such as community-based and home healthcare. In home healthcare settings, it is necessary to assess the patient's condition on-site with limited equipment and personnel, and to share information among multiple disciplines, including doctors and nurses, to facilitate diagnosis and care. Therefore, the importance of portable devices that can check the patient's physical condition at their bedside, and the knowledge related to their use, is increasing. Against this backdrop, at this conference, we will exhibit portable medical devices that can be used for condition assessment in home healthcare settings, and co-host a luncheon seminar on the practical application of pocket ultrasound (POCUS). The co-hosted seminar will focus on practical examples of using pocket ultrasound, such as sharing images with visiting nurses, gastrostomy tube replacement, and excretion care.
