Shizuoka University's Future Society Design Organization Eastern Satellite will hold its Reiwa 8 public lecture series, "Learning about the Nature and Society of the Izu Peninsula from Diverse Perspectives." The Shizuoka University Eastern Satellite, established in July Reiwa 2 as the Izu region's hub for the "Region x University Platform," is engaged in various initiatives as a place for regional learning. This lecture series is a public course designed to learn about the Izu Peninsula from the viewpoints of diverse specialized fields. Instructors will include Shizuoka University faculty, graduate students, and local experts. We kindly request members of the press to provide advance notice and cover the event on the day.
