Kisoji, which offers shabu-shabu and sukiyaki using carefully selected high-quality beef, along with Japanese cuisine made with luxurious seasonal ingredients, is now launching "Yaki-Shabu" as a new proposal to further savor the appeal of beef. While Kisoji may be strongly associated with hot pot dishes like "shabu-shabu" and "sukiyaki," this summer we propose a new "grilled" style that is refreshing enough to stimulate the appetite even in the hot season, allowing you to fully enjoy the umami of the beef. "Yaki-Shabu," proposed by Kisoji as it celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, is a new style of dish where shabu-shabu beef is quickly grilled on a hot plate. You can enjoy the same tender texture unique to carefully selected beef, along with the fragrant aroma created by grilling with butter and the original umami of the beef. Furthermore, to enhance the deliciousness of "Yaki-Shabu," we have prepared two types of sauces with different flavors. One is "Oroshi Ponzu," a combination of Kisoji's special ponzu sauce and lemon juice with plenty of grated daikon radish. Its refreshing acidity enhances the sweetness of the fat in the grilled beef, making it a refreshing dish even in the hot season. The other is Kisoji's special "Yaki-Shabu Sauce," which brings out the umami of the fragrantly grilled beef. Based on the natural sweetness of onions, we have layered multiple umami flavors to create a deep taste that harmonizes with the fragrant beef.
