Sundias Inc. is pleased to announce the "Chil-Chil Video Awards 2026," where BL fans can vote for the best BL video works and actors of the year. The awards are hosted by "Chil-Chil," a BL information website operated by Sundias Inc. Chil-Chil Video Awards 2026 Nominated Works The "Chil-Chil Video Awards" is an annual event that recognizes the most representative works, actors, memorable scenes, and lines of the year, based on fan votes, for BL live-action dramas and films from Japan and abroad. In 2026, voting will be conducted in the categories of Best Work, Best Lead Actor, Best Scene, and Best Line. In recent years, BL dramas have gained popularity, particularly in Asia. Last year, we received a large number of votes from overseas in addition to domestic votes, making this event a reflection of the expanding reach of BL content. Eligible works include domestic BL live-action works that were first broadcast or streamed in Japan between January and December 2025, as well as overseas BL works (dramas, films, and short dramas) for which Japanese subtitles became available by the end of April 2026. Animated works are not eligible. Nominated works will be announced and voting will begin in early July 2026. After the voting period concludes, results will be tallied and announced on the Chil-Chil official website and social media accounts in late August 2026 or later.
