Reabroad Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shin Kanda), which operates the study abroad agency Suma-Ryu, held an award ceremony for its Study Abroad Scholarship for two students of Sapporo Shinyo High School in Hokkaido, as part of a co-creation project concluded with the school. In recent years, acquiring English skills and cross-cultural understanding through study abroad has become one of the important abilities required in society. At the same time, financial burden remains a major barrier, and many students who are motivated to study abroad are forced to give up the challenge. In response, Reabroad launched a scholarship support program in 2024 under the belief that it wants to create a society where anyone can casually take on the challenge of studying abroad. The scholarship does not focus on numerical evaluations such as academic achievement or English proficiency, but instead emphasizes each student’s aspirations for studying abroad and their attitude toward taking on challenges. A key feature is that students verbalize their own motivations, creating an opportunity for them to proactively think about the purpose of studying abroad and their future vision. The initiative was carried out through cooperation between Reabroad and Sapporo Shinyo High School for students enrolled at the school. The project was realized because the school’s efforts in international education and overseas training aligned with the purpose of Reabroad’s scholarship support program. Recruitment and selection of scholarship recipients were conducted by the school, resulting in two winners. The recipients will receive non-repayable study abroad scholarships. The scholarship is for two current students of Sapporo Shinyo High School. Study abroad destinations can be selected from the United States (Los Angeles, San Diego), Canada (Vancouver, Toronto), Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast), New Zealand (Auckland), the United Kingdom (London), Ireland (Dubl
