Ororo Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Atsushi Kawata; hereinafter referred to as "Ororo") is pleased to announce that its group company, Ororo Miyazaki Inc. (Headquarters: Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture; President: Hiroaki Kubota; hereinafter referred to as "Ororo Miyazaki"), has been certified as a "child-rearing support company" by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Next-generation Child-Rearing (hereinafter referred to as the "Next-generation Act"). This marks the third consecutive "Kurumin" certification for Ororo Miyazaki, following those received in 2021 and 2023, with the next certification due in 2026. Ororo Miyazaki has positioned "building an environment that makes it easy to balance work and childcare" as a key issue and has continuously strived to improve its environment. The following initiatives were primarily evaluated for this certification: ■ Key Initiatives Introduction of the "Core Life" Childcare Support Work System: This system enables remote work during a portion of prescribed working hours, realizing flexible working styles. For employees with children in elementary school or younger, the core time (when employees must be present) is set from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Outside of these hours, employees can flexibly choose their work location (office or home) and working hours, providing stronger support for balancing family and childcare. Digitalization and Strengthening of Consultation System: In addition to the traditional parental leave consultation desk, a new "AI Assistant Consultation Desk" has been established to provide 24-hour support. This is being thoroughly communicated throughout the company using internal SNS and other platforms. Through these initiatives, we have achieved a smooth return to work after pre- and post-natal leave and childcare leave, and fostered a workplace environment where employees can continue to work with peace of mind.
