The 'Fukufuku Seika Market,' a new fresh produce market offering vegetables and fruits directly delivered from local farmers across Fukui Prefecture, will launch on July 1, 2026, at Fukubukukan (Fukui City Tourism and Local Products Hall), located on the 2nd floor of Jura Mall (formerly Hapirin) in front of Fukui Station. Centered around the concept of 'A Place Where Fukui's Seasonal Delights Gather at the Station,' the 'Fukufuku Seika Market' aims to let visitors touring Fukui experience firsthand how delicious the region is, while also creating a convenient, welcoming space for local residents to shop in their daily lives. While Fukubukukan has previously sold some agricultural products, it has received strong positive feedback from customers. Many have expressed desires such as 'We want more local vegetables' and 'We hope to see a wider selection of produce from across Fukui Prefecture.' In response, the facility is expanding its sales area and launching it as the 'Fukufuku Seika Market.' The market will span 16 tsubo (approx. 53 sqm). Moving forward, we plan to strengthen partnerships with farmers across Fukui Prefecture, aiming to build a producer network of around 150 members in the future, and to promote the seasonal highlights and charm of Fukui. Additionally, we plan to gradually introduce various events such as tasting booths, allowing visitors to enjoy and engage with Fukui's food culture. Furthermore, following the closure of 'Koppoi-ya,' the direct sales outlet operated by Ikeda Town inside the 'Bell' shopping center, we will begin offering agricultural products previously sold there as part of our new sales initiative. We also plan to expand collaborations with other high-quality local produce and processed goods from across the prefecture, including vegetables and processed items from Ikeda Town's 'Yuki Genki Shojiki Agriculture' program. We are currently seeking farmers and producers who can supply vegetables, fruits, and other products to the 'Fukuf
