We will continue to promote the development and dissemination of technologies related to offsite production of wooden buildings, and through collaboration with members and public members, we will work to improve the performance, productivity, and quality stability of wooden houses and wooden facilities. About the Japan Offsite Construction Association The Japan Offsite Construction Association is an organization that aims to improve the performance, productivity, and quality stability of wooden houses and wooden facilities through the development and dissemination of technologies for offsite production of wooden buildings. Offsite construction is a construction method in which building components, panels, units, etc., are manufactured in advance at a factory or the like and then assembled and constructed at the construction site. The association promotes the use of offsite production in wooden construction and works to spread sustainable wooden construction through collaboration with regional construction companies, construction businesses, material suppliers, public organizations, and others. Furthermore, by establishing production systems and collaborative networks for wooden buildings during normal times, we are also working to create a system that can be utilized for the supply of temporary emergency housing and disaster support facilities during times of disaster.
