Fukushima Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced it will hold 'EV Disaster Prevention Day,' a community event at EV GARDEN Fukushima on May 23, 2026. Scheduled concurrently with the Fukushima City Comprehensive Disaster Drill, the event aims to demonstrate the emergency use of electric vehicles (EVs) for power supply during outages. Co-hosted with solar power company Solar Post, the event will feature EV-to-building power demonstrations, emergency meal preparation by Tuttino Kitchen, and a lecture by Nissan President Yoshiyuki Kaneko and Solar Post's Kentaro Suzuki on securing electricity during disasters.
