Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, operated by Kyoto Industrial Promotion Center Co., Ltd.) celebrated its 30th anniversary on July 1, 2026. Since its opening in 1996, it has been supported by many citizens and businesses as a hub for promoting Kyoto's industry and culture, welcoming approximately 1 million visitors annually. We sincerely thank you for your continued patronage. The roots of our facility trace back to the "Fourth National Industrial Exhibition" held in Okazaki in 1895, which attracted 1.13 million visitors. Inheriting this history, which laid the foundation for Kyoto's modernization and industrial promotion (Kangyo), we have evolved alongside the development of industry and culture in each era, leading to the reconstruction of the "Kyoto City Kangyo Hall" in 1937 (Showa 12) and the birth of "Miyako Messe" in 1996 (Heisei 8). In recent years, the social environment surrounding events and exhibitions has changed significantly due to shifts in lifestyles and the advancement of digitalization. We will continue to serve as a "place of celebration" where Kyoto's traditions and modern innovations intersect, providing a comfortable event environment for users and looking towards the future. ■ Four Initiatives to Improve Convenience Miyako Messe is introducing various initiatives to enhance convenience for visitors and event organizers. We will continue to provide a more comfortable and smooth event environment.
