MAMMUT announced that MAMMUT Store Yokohama, the only store in Japan still featuring the classic logo design, will temporarily close from Friday, May 29 to Friday, June 5, 2026, ahead of its reopening on Saturday, June 6, 2026 as a store based on the current new logo design. Before the renovation, the store will hold the “MAMMUT Store Yokohama Last Classic Design” campaign from Saturday, May 16 to Thursday, May 28, 2026, giving visitors a final opportunity to enjoy the classic logo design. MAMMUT Store Yokohama is the only MAMMUT location with an attached bouldering gym. For MAMMUT, whose roots are in rope making, the store has special significance and has long been supported by climbing enthusiasts and many other customers. Opened in July 2012, the Yokohama store marks its 14th year in 2026 and has become the last classic-logo design store in Japan. Due to the need for store renovation, MAMMUT has decided to update it into a new-logo design store. As one of MAMMUT’s key locations in the Kanto area, the store has carried products for a wide variety of activities, including apparel, backpacks, footwear, climbing gear, and avalanche safety gear, communicating the world of the MAMMUT brand through a broad lineup.
