Loro Piana has announced Viola Schmidt and Hatla Lilja Almarsdóttir from the Swedish School of Textiles as the winners of its 10th Knit Design Award. This year's theme, 'Weaving Light: Evolving Expressions of Color,' challenged students to interpret colors using iconic yarns. Winners receive a scholarship, a trophy, and employment opportunities at the Maison, with their work to be showcased at Pitti Filati in Florence.
