Kyowa Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kazuya Tatematsu; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that its initiative for a detachable lightweight solar power generation system, developed in collaboration with Kyocera Corporation (hereinafter "Kyocera") on the installation side, has been selected for the "Technology Development Support Project for New Energy Promotion" implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Environmental Public Service Corporation. We will continue to participate in this project as an installation contractor, supporting the social implementation of solar power generation systems on roofs with low load-bearing capacity from an installation perspective. ■ Background of this Project While the expansion of renewable energy introduction is required, suitable locations for solar power generation installation are decreasing year by year. In particular, many roofs of factories and warehouses have lightweight structures, and the inability to install conventional solar power generation systems using glass panels has been a major constraint on the expansion of renewable energy introduction. To address these challenges, Kyocera is developing a detachable lightweight solar power generation system optimized for installation on roofs with low load-bearing capacity by reducing the weight of the entire system, including its glass-free structure and installation technology. This system has now been selected for a support project by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Environmental Public Service Corporation. 〇 For details on the lightweight solar power generation system, please see Kyocera's press release. https://www.kyocera.co.jp/newsroom/news/2026/003012.html Image of Kyocera's lightweight solar power generation panel ■ Our Role In this project, the Company will be responsible for: - Installation work for the lightweight solar power gen
