At "KRP Fest 2026," organized by Kyoto Research Park Corporation (President and CEO Mitsuo Asano, hereinafter KRP), "Frozen Town Operation ~ Let's Logically Learn the World's Mysteries with Chemistry x Minecraft!" by Code Adventure Nishi-Oji Station Front School (Operation: TSUKUM LLC) will be held starting July 25, 2026 (Sat). KRP will hold "KRP Fest 2026" over two days, July 24 (Fri.) and 25 (Sat.). With the themes of "Technology," "Town," and "People," approximately 25 diverse events will be held concurrently, including programs to promote exchange among researchers and engineers from companies and institutions located in the KRP area, events for entrepreneurs and startups, and projects to enjoy art and culture. ■About the Held Event In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of chemistry in a fun way using Minecraft. Chemistry is the study of all things being made of tiny particles. Participants will conduct experiments by combining various substances in the world of Minecraft and create new items using chemical reactions. Through this process, they can intuitively understand the properties of matter and the principles of reactions, and cultivate scientific thinking skills. It offers an excellent opportunity to explore the wonders of nature while having fun.
