Kakuichi Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, President: Riyo Tanaka), a comprehensive manufacturer involved in energy and regional revitalization starting from warehouse garages, has entered into a "Regionally Distributed, Locally Consumed Corporate PPA" agreement with Koshidaka Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroshi Koshidaka), which operates "Karaoke Manekineko," and UPDATER Inc. (Location: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, President: Eiji Oishi). This agreement, effective July 1, 2026, consolidates numerous low-voltage solar power plants (4.95 to 9.90 kW class) installed on the rooftops of existing containers and garages to procure electricity. Based on this agreement, starting from August 2026, 100% renewable energy (Note 1) generated by regional solar power plants will be sequentially supplied to 41 Karaoke Manekineko stores across five areas: Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku, and Shikoku. By matching each store with power plants within the same region, this initiative promotes the regional circulation of electricity charges and enables direct procurement of distributed renewable energy, independent of large-scale power plants. The supply system, spread across 61 locations in 5 areas, possesses high resilience unique to distributed systems, allowing other locations to mutually cover any potential generation stoppages at a single site. This structure, not reliant on distant large-scale power plants, enhances the stability of regional power supply during disasters and power outages, leading to the formation of a robust regional energy infrastructure. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to the development of sustainable local communities and economic revitalization. Notably, "Karaoke Manekineko" is the first in the karaoke industry in Japan to adopt such a "Regionally Distributed, Locally Consumed Corporate PPA." * As of the end of May 2026, according to Koshidaka Co., Ltd. *1 100% renewable energy electricity is supplied by c
