JTB Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) has established the "JTB Mirai Koryu Sozo Fund" to support activities contributing to the sustainability of local communities. In conjunction with this, the official website for the fund has been launched today, July 1, 2026 (Wed.), and applications for activities eligible for grants in fiscal year 2026 have begun. ■Background and Purpose of Fund Establishment Since its founding in 1912, JTB has contributed to the realization of an affluent society by connecting people, communities, and Japan with the world through its "Koryu Sozo Business" for over 110 years. In recent years, local communities, which serve as the stage for exchange, have faced diverse challenges such as population decline and climate change. These issues require urgent solutions for the realization of a sustainable society. In its long-term vision "OPEN FRONTIER 2035," JTB aims to be a frontier company in a "new" era of exchange, responsible for the development of the tourism industry and a company trusted by society. As part of its CSR activities to achieve this vision, the "JTB Mirai Koryu Sozo Fund" has been established to contribute to the realization of a more comprehensive and sustainable society. Based on the philosophy of JTB's "Koryu Sozo Business," this fund aims to contribute to the sustainability of local communities by supporting the sound maintenance and development of culture, nature, and people (lifestyles) formed within these communities. Through this, we will create a future where all people can live affluent and happy lives in their communities, leading to the autonomous creation of diverse and rich exchanges. ■Launch of Official Website and Start of FY2026 Applications Today, the "JTB Mirai Koryu Sozo Fund Official Website," which will disseminate information on the fund's philosophy, activities, and application details, has been launched, and applications for activities eligible for grants in fiscal year 2026 have commenced.
