Jimoty Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "our company"), which operates the local information website "Jimoty" (hereinafter, "Jimoty"), has signed an agreement on reuse with Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture (hereinafter, "Yonezawa City"), and will conduct reuse awareness activities aimed at reducing waste. Our company has currently signed reuse agreements with 308 municipalities nationwide and is working to realize a sustainable society through reuse promotion and waste reduction. ■ Objectives of the Agreement Yonezawa City, in its Basic Plan for General Waste Disposal, has established "Promotion of Reuse and Recycling" as one of its basic policy measures and is engaged in various waste reduction activities. Although the total amount of waste discharged is decreasing, the amount of waste discharged per person remains almost unchanged. Many items discharged as waste can be reused, and in recent years, there has been an increasing trend of large-scale disposal due to the organization of household goods for elderly individuals living alone. Currently, even usable items are being disposed of as waste. Therefore, it has become a challenge to consider new measures to promote reuse and reduce waste, leading to the decision to conclude this agreement with our company to further promote reuse. ■ Activities (As of July 1, 2026*) We will promote reuse awareness among residents by encouraging them to consider "giving away instead of throwing away" through Yonezawa City's official website and social media, thereby suppressing waste generation. * The content of awareness activities may change in the future. ■ Promoting Reuse through Collaboration with Municipalities As of July 1, 2026, we have signed agreements and memorandums of understanding with 308 municipalities to promote reuse awareness and reuse businesses.
