J SPORTS Corporation (J SPORTS, Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President: Hajime Tonosaki) and JCOM BS Corporation (J:COM BS, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Yuhhiro Saito) will implement various initiatives for the Orix Buffaloes hosted game "Orix Buffaloes vs. Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles" to be held at Tokyo Dome on August 3, 2026, as part of the J:COM Group's sports content strategy. This game will be broadcast live on J SPORTS and J:COM BS, marking the first live professional baseball broadcast on the J:COM BS channel. ■ Background and Positioning J SPORTS has broadcast Orix Buffaloes hosted games for many years. We will now participate as a special event partner for this hosted game, which will be held at Tokyo Dome for the first time in 17 years since 2009. Through this, we will integrate content production, event management, and broadcasting. By utilizing the J:COM Group's assets across the board, we aim to enhance the value of sports content. Amidst diversifying sports viewing styles, J SPORTS is working to create multifaceted touchpoints with new customers by combining broadcasting, real-life events, and digital initiatives.
