June 29, 2026 Interior image of the "SoraCruise" indoor exhibition space JAL Group will begin exhibiting the immersive (fully immersive experience) theater "SoraCruise by Japan Airlines" (hereinafter "SoraCruise")—previously showcased at the Osaka-Kansai World Expo and Osaka Port Vertiport—at the JAL SKY MUSEUM starting August 1 (Sat). Previously limited to temporary exhibitions in the Osaka area, the installation will now become a permanent exhibit, allowing visitors to experience it anytime during museum tours. First unveiled at the Osaka-Kansai World Expo, SoraCruise utilizes an immersive solution(*) provided by Sony PCL Corporation, offering a highly realistic experience through lifelike visuals, 3D audio, and vibration, simulating the sensation of riding in a flying car. During the Expo, it received enthusiastic acclaim from approximately 130,000 visitors, with many requesting additional showings. The permanent version of SoraCruise at JAL SKY MUSEUM has been made more compact in size and content to accommodate broader accessibility. Visitors will be able to sit and virtually tour various locations, including the skies above Osaka, delivering a sensation closely resembling an actual "car" ride. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience cutting-edge air mobility technology combined with an immersive visual journey. Additionally, the exhibition space will include a dedicated area introducing JAL Group’s initiatives toward realizing flying cars, creating a multifaceted experience that allows visitors to explore the future of air travel and mobility alongside SoraCruise. ■ Overview of Immersive Theater "SoraCruise by Japan Airlines" Operation Start: From museum tours beginning August 1, 2026 (Sat) Screening Time: Approximately 3.5 minutes Capacity: Up to 9 people (seated) Screen: Four-sided screen covering front, left, right, and floor surfaces (Width 4.9 m × Height 2.6 m × Depth 5.4 m; approximately 60% the scale of the Expo version) Planning & Production: Sony PC
