Facility Image The JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) Gunma Branch (Branch Manager: Komei Hoshizaki) will hold the "Fujioka Bowl Summer Bowling Event" for JAF members on August 2 (Sun). At the event, professional bowlers will provide easy-to-understand and fun basic lessons, followed by two games in a tournament format to test participants' skills. Additionally, participants can tour the back area of the bowling lanes, which is not usually visible. This event aims to provide an opportunity to enjoy physical activity in a cool indoor environment and create summer vacation memories. Event Details Here Bowling Alleys Nationwide Have Decreased to One-Fifth of Their Peak According to the Japan Bowling Federation, the number of bowling alleys nationwide, which was 3,697 facilities in 1972, has decreased to 621 facilities as of 2025. (※) While the number of facilities is decreasing, bowling is also a lifelong sport that anyone of a wide range of ages can enjoy.
