(Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; President: Toshinori Kitao), part of the Iris Group, will sequentially lower the wholesale prices for its packaged rice, "Teion Seihōmai no Oishii Gohan®" (Delicious Rice Made with Low-Temperature Manufacturing Method®), starting July 1, 2026, to support consumers' lives. The company entered the rice milling business in 2013 with the aim of supporting disaster-stricken areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and promoting agricultural recovery. Iris Foods handles everything from procurement of materials and brown rice to milling, distribution, and sales within the group.
