Nanto Corporation (Headquarters: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Munenao Oshiro) was established on June 30, 1971, as its predecessor, "Key Brand Kanko Co., Ltd." Today, it celebrates its 55th anniversary. Nanto Bussan Co., Ltd. will also celebrate its 50th anniversary on July 10, 2026. The Nanto Group positions this milestone year as the "Nanto Group Anniversary" and is undertaking various anniversary projects throughout the year with the theme "Connecting Okinawa's Nature, History, and Culture to the Future." Through these anniversary projects, we are promoting initiatives to convey Okinawa's charm to future generations, including nature and cultural experience programs for local children, traditional craft experiences, the creation of original postage stamps with the theme "Okinawa's Treasures I Want to Leave for the Future" drawn by children, the production of a children's guide map, and an experience program themed around archaeology at Gangala Valley. Furthermore, we will produce a comprehensive guide book, "Okinawa Stone Culture Museum," for the "Okinawa Stone Culture Museum" within Asumui Hikes (formerly Oishirinzan) and donate it to Kunigami Village to aid in local learning. In 2026, the Nanto Group will reach a significant milestone. Since our founding, we have walked forward while engaging with Okinawa's nature, history, and culture, based on the founder's desire to "enrich our homeland." Tourism is an industry that can only thrive with the charm of the region. We believe it is our important role not only to welcome visitors to Okinawa but also to protect its value and connect it to the future together with the community. With gratitude to the local community, customers, and business partners who have supported us, we will continue to advance initiatives to pass on Okinawa's charm to the next generation and walk forward together with the region. ● Nanto Group Anniversary Special Page https://www.nantocorp.com/anniversary.html [Inquiries]
