Gong cha Japan will launch “SHINE Shine Muscat,” a limited-time dessert tea packed with the juicy flavor of Shine Muscat grapes, from Thursday, May 21, 2026. The refreshing dessert tea is designed for early summer and aims to deliver a bright, uplifting tea experience. Returning again this year, the drink combines the rich aroma and deep fruity sweetness of Shine Muscat with the clean taste of Alishan oolong tea. In its fourth year, the series adds crunchy aloe as a topping, creating an even juicier and more refreshing texture. The lineup includes a smooth and refreshing milk tea, a fruit-forward tea ade, a frozen “Gelar-tea” with jiggly jelly and icy texture, and a newly introduced sparkling tea in a large size. Gong cha invites customers to enjoy a clear and refreshing early-summer moment with these seasonal drinks. Key product features include jiggly jelly made with domestic Shine Muscat juice paired with crunchy aloe for a fruit-like chunky texture; a Shine Muscat jelly sauce made with juice from Nagano Prefecture, known for its Shine Muscat grapes, capturing rich sweetness and aromatic flavor with added grape pulp for extra juiciness; and Alishan oolong tea as the base, which pairs well with fruit and brings out both the grape’s sweetness and the tea’s fruity character. The products are “SHINE Shine Muscat Milk Tea” (iced, M, 670 yen), “SHINE Shine Muscat Tea Ade” (iced, M, 670 yen), “SHINE Shine Muscat Gelar-tea” (frozen, M, 700 yen), “SHINE Shine Muscat Sparkling Tea” (iced, L, 760 yen), and Shine Muscat Jelly topping (100 yen). All prices include tax. The items will be available at Gong cha stores across Japan, though some stores may not carry all products. The official launch date is Thursday, May 21, 2026. Mobile order pre-sales begin on Monday, May 18, at participating stores, while early sales begin on Thursday, May 14, at the LaLaport Toyosu and Akihabara Chuo-dori stores.
