Global Agents Co., Ltd., operator of LIVELY HOTELS, a collection of boutique and lifestyle hotels with six brands, 12 properties and 1,200 rooms across Japan, announced that THE LIVELY Fukuoka Hakata will launch a summer-limited menu at THE LIVELY BAR Fukuoka Hakata from June 2, 2026. Centered on parfait-style shaved ice featuring seasonal fruits from Kyushu, the menu is designed to offer a new summer dining experience. THE LIVELY Fukuoka Hakata offers original hotel sweets under the theme of “Emode” (“Emotional” × “Mode”), creating new hotel experiences through food for each season and event. This summer, the hotel will also hold a limited-time program titled “The Re:Boot,” open to both staying guests and outside visitors. Through food and spatial experiences, the program aims to provide a small reset in everyday summer life. It consists of three experiences: “Refresh,” focused on chilled sweets and drinks; “Reset,” which offers a calm, out-of-the-ordinary hotel space away from daily noise and information overload; and “Recharge,” which helps guests feel uplifted through seasonal ingredients and atmosphere. The seasonal dessert “Furupa Ice” is a hybrid of fruit, parfait and shaved ice, starring carefully selected fruits from across Kyushu. Layers of fruit sauce, brown rice flakes, cream, jelly, vanilla ice cream and other ingredients are topped with fluffy shaved ice, creating a visually striking dessert whose flavors and textures change as it is eaten. The shaved ice uses highly transparent, smooth-melting ice that is frozen carefully over more than 48 hours. A milk syrup made with yogurt from Itomonogatari, a popular brand from Itoshima, Fukuoka, and condensed milk is served on the side. The menu will be available from June 2 to September 13, 2026, at THE LIVELY BAR Fukuoka Hakata.
