Garden Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ken Kawashima) announced that Yamashita Honki Udon, operated by the company, will expand sales of its new “U Series” udon products to five additional stores from Friday, May 15, 2026. The series originated from the “U-Donut,” first launched at Yamashita Honki Udon Shibuya Namikibashi in June 2021, and recreates items such as fries, American corn dogs, and churros using udon. To commemorate the sales expansion, the company will run a campaign from May 15 to June 30, 2026, offering eligible products at a 100-yen discount from the regular tax-included price at all nine stores selling the “U Series.” Photos show the containers used for takeout. The “U Series” was developed from the idea of letting customers enjoy udon’s firm and chewy texture not only as a staple meal, but also as a dessert or snack after dining. The lineup includes the American corn dog-style “U-Dog,” the fries-style “U-Teto,” and the churro-style “U-Churon.” The products are recommended for dine-in, takeout, and eating while walking. Sales at the newly added stores will begin on Friday, May 15, 2026. The five new locations are Yamashita Honki Udon Shibuya Namikibashi, Kagurazaka, Ikebukuro North Exit, Urawa Parco, and Aeon Mall Okayama. Eligible items include all “U Series” products: U-Dog at 355 yen (390 yen including tax), U-Teto at 273 yen (300 yen including tax), and U-Churon in plain or cinnamon sugar at 273 yen (300 yen including tax). These are dine-in prices. The 100-yen discount campaign will run from Friday, May 15 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at all nine stores selling the “U Series.” During the campaign, U-Dog will be reduced from 355 yen (390 yen including tax) to 264 yen (290 yen including tax), while U-Teto and U-Churon will each be reduced from 273 yen (300 yen including tax) to 182 yen (200 yen including tax). These are dine-in prices. Yamashita Honki Udon is a dedicated Sanuki udon restaurant ori
