Gaprise Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryoji Kai, hereinafter "Gaprise") announces that it has supported Enoteca Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Enoteca") in the full implementation of its website acceleration tool "Speed Kit" on Enoteca's wine e-commerce site, achieving a 40% faster page loading speed (LCP: Largest Contentful Paint) across the site and an 8.0% increase in CVR (conversion rate). This case successfully addressed the challenge of improving site speed while maintaining rich content, without modifying the existing system. ■ Background and Challenges In the e-commerce industry, rising customer acquisition costs have heightened the importance of not losing customers who have already visited a site. Among various factors, page loading speed has become one of the most critical metrics directly affecting the purchasing experience. For Enoteca, rich content conveying stories about wine origins, producers, and ways to enjoy wine has been a key competitive advantage. However, this richness in content also became a structural cause of slow page loading. Increasing loads from external tools, images, and scripts accumulated over time, and even after migrating servers to AWS, fundamental speed improvements were not achieved. Despite a strong desire to make the site faster, the complexity of the existing system made it difficult to identify a viable solution. ■ Rationale for Adopting Speed Kit Speed Kit, provided by Gaprise, is a website acceleration tool that works simply by adding one line of JavaScript code to the HTML. Since processing occurs via the browser's service worker (a mechanism for cache management running in the background), it can be implemented without modifying any system configuration, including fully in-house developed (scratch-built) e-commerce systems. Before full implementation, Enoteca conducted a small-scale proof-of-concept (PoC) test and confirmed measurable speed improvements. Furthermore, internal team members who use the site daily
