It is a special wine that actually arrived at Moji Port in Kitakyushu City from Kobe Port, a part of the west-bound route, and was then transported back to Kobe Port a week later. Twenty bottles of this rare wine, each with a certificate bearing the captain's handwritten signature detailing the date, route, and voyage, will be sold online. The original etichetta (label) depicting the sailing ship "BLUE OCEAN Miraihe" is eye-catching and a must-have for ship enthusiasts. The wine was brewed at Felissimo's 'f winery,' an urban winery located near the sea at the base of Kobe Port's Pier 1, where the sailing ship is berthed. It is a so-called Bordeaux blend, made with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Kobe City, aiming to balance a "classic structure" with a "lustrous mouthfeel." It is a medium-bodied red wine that, with the rich fruitiness of Merlot and the crisp acidity and tannins of Cabernet, offers a sense of allure amidst its strength.
