The Japan Financial Education Support Organization (Joint Representative Directors: Risa Hirai, Nana Abe; Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "the Organization") will hold a financial education workshop for junior and senior high school students, "The Road to the 4th FES Contest in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture," in collaboration with IPU, the University of the Pacific. This project is a regional collaboration initiative that combines the Organization's goal of "financial education that broadens life choices" with the "problem-solving practical education for local issues" undertaken by the Department of Contemporary Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at IPU, the University of the Pacific. Based at the IPU, the University of the Pacific Okayama Station Front Global Campus, we aim to create a new financial education model where university students, junior and senior high school students, and the local community learn together. Furthermore, this workshop was made possible through the efforts of Associate Professor Junichi Oike of the Department of Contemporary Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at IPU, the University of the Pacific, who also serves as a faculty ambassador for the Organization. Associate Professor Oike specializes in commercial education and regional collaboration, and is also engaged in research and practice related to product development and regional revitalization. The Organization has delivered financial education as "learning to think, communicate, and act" in collaboration with schools, municipalities, companies, and universities. This time, the first workshop in Okayama City will be held at the IPU, the University of the Pacific Okayama Station Front Global Campus, which is located in front of Okayama Station and has the concept of "connection," aiming to create a new model that connects the community and young people.
