eMotion Fleet Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Shuji Shiraki, Denis Ilich; hereinafter "eMotion Fleet"), whose mission is to "realize economical green mobility from the ground up," is pleased to announce its participation in the "2nd Astsukuru PITCH CAMP," a pitch event for new business creation hosted by Askul Corporation (hereinafter "Askul") on May 14. This event was held with the aim of creating co-creation opportunities, driven by expectations for innovation utilizing Askul's assets. Leveraging its expertise in comprehensive commercial EV solutions integrating hardware, software, and services, eMotion Fleet proposed the provision of a "Mobility DX/GX Support Service for Small and Medium-sized Businesses" targeting Askul's strong customer base. ■ Background of the Proposal While there is a growing demand for decarbonization across the entire supply chain (Scope 3 reduction), the logistics and transportation industry, which accounts for 98% of the sector and comprises small and medium-sized carriers (less than 100 vehicles), faces significant structural challenges. These include a lack of expertise and resources for EV adoption (GX) and vehicle management digitalization (DX) due to cost and operational complexities. To address this issue, we presented a collaborative model that combines Askul's customer base, which has numerous touchpoints with businesses and suppliers, with eMotion Fleet's comprehensive commercial EV fleet solutions. This model aims to alleviate the concerns of small and medium-sized businesses regarding economy and operational burden, thereby strongly supporting logistics DX/GX driven from the ground up. ■ Overview of the Proposed Mobility DX/GX Support Service We envision a phased and seamless support system from implementation to operation, tailored to the customer's decarbonization stage and needs. 1.
