Drecom Co., Ltd. announced the establishment of DRECOM CREATORS STUDIO, an indie game studio dedicated to supporting game creators, discovering and nurturing their works, and bringing them to audiences worldwide. The studio will also exhibit at BitSummit PUNCH, one of Japan’s largest indie game events, held from May 22 to May 24, 2026. DRECOM CREATORS STUDIO supports indie game creators, including individual developers and small teams. While preserving each creator’s authorship and the essence of their work, the studio aims to provide consistent support from development through long-term IP expansion, helping titles remain loved across generations and borders. Its support includes sharing development expertise, financial assistance, marketing support, and media mix expansion, creating an environment where creators can focus on making games while unlocking the full potential of their works and expanding them globally. Drecom has been working in recent years to deliver excitement to more people through IP-driven entertainment content. By supporting game creators and discovering, developing, and bringing their works to the world, the company aims to contribute to the growth of the game industry and Japan’s entertainment sector. Beyond game development, operations, and distribution, Drecom has also worked on media mix initiatives such as novelizations, comic adaptations, anime adaptations, and merchandise. One symbolic example is its work with the Wizardry series, a globally beloved IP with more than 40 years of history. Drecom created Blade & Bastard from this IP and has expanded it across novels, comics, anime, and merchandise. In addition, the 3D dungeon RPG Wizardry Variants Daphne, available on iOS, Android, and Steam since October 2024, has surpassed 3 million downloads worldwide. DRECOM CREATORS STUDIO is now looking for creators who will build the next stories together with the studio, drawing on Drecom’s accumulated knowledge and passion for IP production. Deta
