NTT DOCOMO, INC. (“DOCOMO”) will end provision of the “U Standard Plan” under its mobile ISP service “mope a U” on Monday, December 14, 2026, in light of recent usage trends for email services. For the “Simple Plan,” DOCOMO will revise pricing from Thursday, October 1, 2026, and expand the supported 5G and Xi voice plans, as communication equipment maintenance costs and system operation costs continue to rise. The changes are intended to maintain stable service provision and preserve and improve the quality of customer support. Information regarding email use After the service ends, customers will no longer be able to send or receive email using the email addresses currently in use. Customers are requested to change the registered email address for any services where the affected address is registered. After the service ends, access to webmail and viewing of past email data will no longer be available, and the data will be promptly deleted. Customers who wish to keep their data should store it themselves in advance. 4. Alternative email services The DOCOMO Group offers DOCOMO Mail and OCN Mail, which customers may consider using.
