Tokyo Denki University (President: Tadahiko Iba) and Shonan Shirayuri Gakuen Junior and Senior High School (Principal: Yuko Iwase) signed an agreement on high school-university collaboration on July 1. This agreement aims to broaden the horizons of junior and senior high school students, enhance their awareness of future career paths and motivation to learn, and deepen mutual understanding of junior high, senior high, and university education through exchanges and collaboration in education, thereby vitalizing education at both institutions. An agreement signing ceremony was held on the same day at Tokyo Denki University's Tokyo Senju Campus. Shonan Shirayuri Gakuen Junior and Senior High School, with its motto "Obedience, Diligence, Charity," fosters the ability to step out into the world as "loving individuals" under Christian values. The school is particularly noted for its proactive activities, such as jointly offering a variety of "Exploration Courses" with neighboring junior and senior high schools to nurture curiosity and a spirit of inquiry. Prior to the signing of this agreement, exchanges have already taken place, including advice and support from Tokyo Denki University faculty members in the school's practical training courses. Moving forward, we will further strengthen educational collaboration and develop more closely integrated initiatives through off-campus lectures and workshops by our faculty, as well as research activities.
